What should the tire pressure be?
You should always check the sidewall of the tire first, but typically tire pressure should be 22-24 p.s.i. Check monthly.
How often should I check the water in my batteries, and how much water should there be?
You should check the water in your batteries once a month by opening each individual cell and visually checking. The water should cover the plates and go no higher than the bottom of the neck. Distilled water is recommended.
My charger doesn't work, what should I do?
First check AC power (wall outlet) and verify it is working by plugging something else in like a hairdryer or radio. Be sure the DC receptacle is completely plugged in to the car receptacle. If after checking these two things the charger still will not come on, please call or email us for further instructions.
How do I clean my windshield and curtains?
First, hose off the surface to remove dirt and dust. Then clean your windshield and plastic windows on the curtains with a plastic cleaner/polish, similar to Meguire's Plastic Cleaner with a clean, soft cloth. DO NOT USE WINDEX AND PAPER TOWELS! That will scratch your window and make it cloudy.
How fast should my car go?
The typical golf car goes 12-14 mph. A performance Club Car electric, with the optional 3.75 hp motor will go up to 18 mph. The new IQ Club Car electric can be programmed up to 19.6 mph.
Why is my car slower than it used to be?
Check the tire pressure and inflate tires to 22-24 psi (always check sidewalls of tires for exact pressure). If this does not cure your problem, you may need a new set of batteries. If you are comparing your car to another car, please make sure you are comparing the same model. Different models may go different speeds.
How often should I have my car serviced?
We recommend you have your car serviced by Club Car trained service technicians once a year for average use.
Is it "golf car" or "golf cart"?
In the industry, a "golf cart" is what you pull behind you, and a "golf car" is a motorized vehicle.
Where do I find the serial number on my golf car?
On a Club Car, the serial number is located on the passenger side, above the floorboard, below the dash compartment. The Club Car serial number begins with an "A" for electric or "AG" for gas, followed by a series of numbers. The year of your Club Car is the first two numbers following the "A" or "AG".
