
GAS
These are general guidelines from the factory recommended service. This is not intended to cover every make, model or maintenance need. Please refer to your owner’s manual for specific maintenance requirements for your golf car.
Monthly Service by Owner of Trained Mechanic
Engine
Check engine oil level; change as required. See Lubrication Schedule (owner’s manual, page 16). Dispose of used oil properly.
Tires
Check air pressure and adjust as necessary. See Capacities Chart (owner’s manual, page 17).
General Vehicle
Wash engine compartment and underside of vehicle. Check engine cooling air intake; clean as necessary. Dispose of waste water properly.
Semi-annual Service by Trained Mechanic Only
(Every 50 hours of operation or every 100 rounds for golf cars)
Battery
Clean terminals and wash dirt from casing; check electrolyte level. See owner’s manual, page 19.
Front Wheel Alignment and Camber
Check and adjust as required. See Maintenance & Service Manual, Section 7.
Electrical wiring and connections
Check for tightness and damage.
Brake System
Check brake shoes; replace if necessary.
Lubricate brake slides per Lubrication Schedule.
Check brake cables for damage; replace as required.
Annual Service by Trained Mechanic Only
(Every 100 hours of operation or every 200 rounds for golf cars)
Engine
Check for leaks around gaskets, fill plugs, etc.
Inspect, clean and regap spark plug; replace if necessary.
Engine Air Intake System
Check air filter element clean or replace if necessary. Dispose of used filter element properly.
Check clamps for tightness; check hose for cracks.
General Vehicle
Check for loose hardware and tighten as required.
Two year Service by Trained Mechanic Only
(Every 200 hours of uperation or every 400 rounds for golf cars)
Air Filter Element
Replace. Dispose of used filters properly.
Fuel Filters
Replace. Dispose of used filters properly.
ELECTRIC
Daily Service by Owner
Batteries
Charge batteries (after each use only).
Weekly Service by Owner
Batteries
Check electrolyte level. Add water as necessary per Maintenance and Service Manual.
Monthly Service by Owner of Trained Mechanic
Batteries
Wash battery tops and clean terminals with baking soda/water solution. Dispose of waste water properly.
Tires
Check air and adjust as necessary (See Vehicle Capacities chart on Page 17).
Wiper Switch
Check for cracks or other damage; make sure switch is securely fastened to frame. Check movable contact for correct operation.
General Vehicle
Wash battery compartment and underside of vehicle. Dispose of waste water properly.

Check brake shoes; replace if necessary (see DS Maintenance and Service Manual).
Lubricate brake slides per Lubrication Schedule.
Check brake cables for damage; replace as required.

Check for tightness and damage.
Forward and Reverse Switch
Check condition of contacts and wire connections; Make sure connections are tight.
Front Wheel Alignment and Camber
Check and adjust as required. See Maintenance & Service Manual, Section 7.
Annual Service by Trained Mechanic Only
(Every 100 hours of operation or every 200 rounds for golf cars)
Batteries
Perform battery tests per Maintenance & Service Manual.
